jab_lao combines Pokémon fan-game characters with formation battles inspired by Unicorn Overlord. Arrange up to three Pokémon across front and back rows, then select attacks and abilities before each short encounter. Lower-rarity Pokémon receive larger benefits from stat-boosting items, giving familiar favorites a role. Story tournaments, League Challenge, and Battle Frontier offer different ways to build a team. This is an independent fan project, not an official Pokémon release.
How to Play Pokémon Overlord
- Use Z to interact, X to cancel, and C for information; choose up to three Pokémon and place them in front or back rows.
- Select two attacks and one ability for each Pokémon according to the next opponent.
- Keep a front-row defender alive to protect the back row, whose Pokémon act thirty percent more slowly.
- Invest rewards in stat items and try the thirty-battle Battle Frontier or character-specific League Challenge.
