KBHGames FNF Playground Studio is a free browser music playground made by KBHGames.com. Unlike Friday Night Funkin's campaign, it lets you improvise with character voices instead of following a scored sequence of incoming notes. The checked build presents 178 singer choices, stage and music panels, local duets and a take recorder. Its credits identify The Funkin' Crew and the teams behind the included fan mods. This page uses KBHGames' own publicly offered embed, preserving its player, branding and credits; GameVertex is not the creator of the original game or these mods.
How to Play KBHGames FNF Playground Studio
- Click Play, then Play Now inside the KBHGames player. Keep the player visible while its introductory animation finishes.
- Hold A, S, W and D, or the Left, Down, Up and Right arrow keys, to sing the four directions. Release a key to end the note; hold several keys to build a chord.
- Click the singer's name to open the character picker. Q and E step through singers, while Stage and Music change the scene and backing track.
- Choose Duet for two people on the same device: player one uses WASD and player two uses the arrow keys. This is local play, not online matchmaking.
- Press R or Record to start and stop a take. Open Takes for playback and the game's WAV export option; use Sound to adjust pitch and volume.
- On touch devices, use the colored singing pads. Fullscreen gives the stage and controls more room.
KBHGames FNF Playground Studio FAQ
- Is FNF Playground Studio the original Friday Night Funkin' campaign?
- No. It is KBHGames' music sandbox using Friday Night Funkin' and fan-mod characters. It focuses on improvisation, duets and recorded takes rather than campaign scoring.
- What keys do I use to sing?
- In solo mode, use WASD or the arrow keys. In duet mode, player one uses WASD and player two uses arrows. Hold a key for a sustained note and release it to stop.
- Is duet mode online multiplayer?
- No. Both players share one device, with separate keyboard controls and singing pads.
- Why does the player pause on a KBHGames logo?
- The player runs a branded introduction before the stage appears. Keep the tab and player visible until it finishes. The external player may also require its own Play Now click; repeated reloads restart loading.
